Come Alive!

And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. -Genesis 2:7 (NKJ)

Come Alive!
There is nothing quite like a new beginning. In Christ we have the opportunity to have a new beginning each day. From the dawn of mankind it was by God's handiwork that we were created and given life. The Bible says "he formed us" and "breathed life" in us. Life is not worth living unless it is lived fully! I have come to realize, until you allow God to daily breathe life into you, you are not living life as a fulfilled woman.
I feel more alive than ever as I make a conscious decision to surrender myself, my thoughts, my desires, my wants, my needs to Christ. I realize how the slightest thought or action not controlled, will have me on a path towards being full of myself rather than the Holy Spirit. The Lord literally gave me one Word that resonated in me during a worship service at church and it was "fulfilled." At the time I did not know what it meant but I knew there was a reason.

At A Crossroad
At this time I felt unfulfilled as a wife. I have a wonderful husband that loves God, but it seemed as if I kept revisiting the same issues. In the end I knew God wanted to change some things on the inside of me. My selfishness, my insecurities, not allowing my emotions to call the shots... I knew I could never be a woman that would win without conquering these issues. I felt like I was doing the things that God would have me to do as a mother but I felt like I had to change some things as my children continue to get in older, in order that one day they will truly recognize their need for a Savior. I did not want my parenting to become routine. I needed to hear that still small voice guiding me daily in regards to my three boys, not just tuning in every now and then. How can I do all this? I felt like I had to up my game literally and figuratively if I was going to succeed.

In time the Lord has shown me the answer I was looking for with every issue. He wants me to concentrate on allowing Him to fulfill me in every aspect of my life. I know now in order for me to go to the next level that God has for me I must be more strategic in allowing God to fill me up with more of Him. My life and my family is dependent upon it. In the Bible, the Israelites were God's chosen people, but because of their disobedience and choosing their own way they stayed in the wilderness longer than anticipated. I don't want that to be me. I am willing to do whatever it takes to become the woman God has called me to be. Are you ?

"Are you hurting and broken within? Overwhelmed by the weight of your sin? Jesus is calling Have you come to the end of yourself Do you thirst for a drink from the well? Jesus is calling (Song by: Elevation Worship)

I love these words, it beautifully depicts my hearts song. Jesus is calling you and I to become fulfilled women. I believe this is the key to life in order that we learn to be content, consistent, and courageous women of God. Take this journey with me of allowing God to show us what it truly means to have a fulfilled life in Christ.

Accept the Challenge
Don't believe the lie that where you are now is where you will stay. We are not here to live life broken, crippled, individuals. We must seek God's best and nothing less. I will share my personal testimonies of God's grace and how He continues to mold and shape me. I want that "abundant" life! Don't you?! Don't miss out on an opportunity to filled from the inside out. Let today be the start of a fulfilled life in Christ!

Prayer
Lord, I thank you for this new day. Thank you for calling me out of mediocrity into excellence. I want to be a follower of Jesus that is full of you and your Spirit. Help me to daily deny my flesh in my specific areas of struggle. My desire is to be a woman who is fulfilled in you and you alone. Show me Lord God what being fulfilled in you means for my life and I will be obedient as you show me, me. In Jesus' name, amen.
