In His Time

He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority."

-Acts 1:7

Have you done all that you could or should do and yet… your left waiting? We pray and follow the directions given by the Lord, so why then are we left to still “wait?” Well I know one thing for sure, God always has a purpose in His plan and it is always for our good! Psalm 46:10 says, “Be still, and know that
I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” The word of the Lord says,“Be still.” But it also says, “Know that He is GOD.” I believe that God will always empower us if we ask,but there is always a choice to make, of our free will, DAILY that must take place. As I am waiting on
God, I must choose to inform my mind, will, and emotions that He is in control! He is the Great I AM!The Lord wants our consistent agreement with His will, so that another level of His glory can be manifested in our lives. Don’t allow obedience to become routine. We must remain in awe of the One who goes before us and provides. For the mature believer, it’s not just about waiting. It’s about what we learn while we wait. How can you reflect the heart of God even more as you wait on Him to fulfill His promises in your life? Allow God to speak to you and write down what actions He directs you to take next. Psalms 31:15a says, “My times are in your hand…” Remember our God’s timing is impeccable and always in our best interest! It’s working together for our good!

Pray this with me:
God you are the ultimate authority over my life, and I trust You and I trust Your timing! I believe that
trusting in you will allow me to continue growing in my faith and build a more powerful and intimate
relationship with you! Amen
